Anything After 8 Is Gamey
Getting ready for the day, cooking some crepes, and next thing you know Sophie's singing the alphabet. She's never made it all the way to the end before. She can count to 8 reliably -- anything after that is gamey. But the alphabet -- well done, litle girl! I'm pretty proud right now.
As far as work goes, I've been to the Fort Lewis operation twice now, counting yesterday. Big, big place. Kinda brings out the 12 year old boy in you when you see the giant buildings with the giant blank helicopters and the tanks and such. I overheard a phrase that I'm sure everyone else has heard: "Army guys - if it moves, salute it; it if doesn't move, pick it up; if you can't pick it up, paint it."
I'm off to our Bremerton office today. The driving's not bad, I just don't like missing out on what I've been putting in at the main office. I mean, I'm working on some nice stuff that a lot of other people are really going to get a kick out of.
Other news: my PDA finally went bust (the tragedy!), Kel went to see david bowie (that heathen!), I heard a great sermon on Sunday (that saint!), and Sophie still poops in her diaper (that poor girl!). More about those things later.
