This Is Somewhat About Shachaf
Just got a call from Shachaf (what's up Shachaf!) about a linux users' group (or LUG, duh) in Port Townsend. That's something I've toyed with on and off, but never implemented. Mostly because I found my fix through the LUG in Poulsbo. KPLUG. Read about it. Shachaf is a stranger to me now, but a fellow linux user is usually a pretty good sign that he's gonna be a good guy. Most of us are, I think.
In the non-linux world, I've been installing and playing with Exchange 2003 at work -- it's a very easy install, really. Had one hiccup with a missing NNTP service not running, but other than that the install (including intregration with AD and DNS configuration) went off smoothly. Although it's 100% microsoft there, I'm having fun with running the servers. It's nice to be able to carve out what you want, you know?
