Sorry, Back On Topic ... !
Kelly just finished up with her zine meeting. Her and AmBeR are making a parenting zine for Port Townsend, the Port Townsend Breeder. Nice name, and they've got pretty realistic goals and expectations. It seems quite doable.
Gotta take an aside here: Don't Ever Buy an HP Pavilion XE4500 laptop. Ever, Ever, Ever. The #@*!# keyboard I've ever used. It's so ... five-dollar-overseas-labor-fabricated. I've long been a fan of the Omnibooks that HP puts out, since way back to my Omnibook 800CT. Great little laptop. But this Pavilion .... oh, the Dell Inspiron 5100 way outshines it, in hardware usability. A much nicer machine. Better video card, too - Freelancer works smooth at the highest setting. I gotta tone down the resolution and graphics for the Pavilon.
Sorry, back on topic.
Getting into Python again. It's been awhile. I'm working on understanding the filesystem handles in order to iterate through a directory for the Thumbnail Maker script I'm working on. Perhaps, yes, PERHAPS the most trivial thing coded. Oh wait, I stand corrected.
Nels has been smilin' lots lately. That's so cool, too, because he coos when he does it. Melts my hard, dusty heart like Ronald McDonald cuts through sanity to appeal directly to childrens' ability to nag parents into fries.
