1, 2, Unhappy
I'm unhappy about two things right now.
1: Spider Man 2 for the PC is crashing on something like level 4. It's one of the early levels where you have to disable these bombs in Oscorp by hitting the musical notes in order (think Goonies). Five minutes into my savegame, it bluescreens.
2: The Istar D200 chassis we used to make a whitebox rackmount server at work has this riser card (JM112, I believe) to convert a regular ATX mobo so that it will work in a 2U unit. The thing has these funky little reversable PCI place-holders, and NO DOCUMENTATION on where they go or what the two connections on each one go to. Nothing on Google. Nothing on the Taiwan or US sites.
The only way to test it is to shut down, unplug, remove the entire card, remove the gigabit ethernet card we've put in, change the settings, put the gigabit ethernet card back in, put the riser card back in, plug the computer back in, and boot up. Once it's mostly booted, we can see from the switch in the NOC that it's at 100baseT. Wash, rinse, repeat.
